He tells us that world changing ideas are not born by the mere coincidence but are the effect of 4 important laws ,Consumption ,Imitation, Creative communities and Iterations . To explain this he has drawn a creative curve for the better understanding


 

            We all know about the famous story of J.K.Rowling how she got the idea about Harry Potter in a train journey to London , the story of the song "Yesterday " by Paul McCartney , the creativity of Steve Jobs and many others how where this people stuck with the creative ideas .  To answer this Author explains that the creative ideas are born between the ideas which we already know (which is familiarity on the creative curve) and something new (which is preference on the chart).

        Author  explains that anyone can get or  generate creative ideas but for that we have to follow four steps

1) Consumption   (Consumption of a lot of content)

2) Imitation           (To study and copy the best )

3) Community     (To have a proper community)

4) Iteration           (To do right things and improving )

It also includes the story of Campus Network one of the competitors of Facebook, Ben and Jerry's the famous ice-cream company and  there are many things the author has explained clearly about our myths of creativity.
